The story of the lives of four struggling artists living in 19th Century Paris. One of the most well-loved operas La Bohème, is coming to the Brindley Theatre Runcorn on Tuesday 28 November.

Heritage Opera, Northwest England’s professional touring opera company, comes to Runcorn for the first time with Puccini’s best-loved opera, which charts the love affair of Rodolfo, a writer, and Mimi, his neighbour, as they eke out a living on the breadline.

Life is harsh, and they soon find that you need more than passion to survive. Opera doesn’t get more romantic than this!

Manchester-based Heritage Opera has been touring chamber versions of well-loved operas for 10 years, clocking up over 3,000 performances in that time.

The cast of eight are all fantastic experienced professionals, who have appeared with many leading opera companies in the UK and beyond, including Liverpool soprano Sarah Helsby Hughes as Mimi, and Royal Opera House tenor Nicholas Sales as Rodolfo. Sung in English, accompanied by piano. Tickets are £24, £22 from www.thebrindley.org.uk and the Brindley box office on 0151 907 8360.
