Do you know a sporting hero in your community? Halton Borough Council is looking for nominations for its first ‘Sports Got Talent’ event this November.

Halton Sports Partnerships annual awards ceremony – re-named ‘Sports Got Talent’ for this year – will take place on Friday 10 November at the Select Security Stadium.

We are now taking nominations for the following awards:

Club of The Year
Coach of the Year
Lifetime Achievement
Active Halton Award
Volunteer of the Year
Young Volunteer of the Year
Sports Person of the Year
Young Sports Person of the Year

Closing date for nominations is Monday 11 Sept.

Halton Borough Council’s Executive Member for Sport, Cllr Phil Harris, said: “This is the chance for us to celebrate the people who really put the time and effort in to promote sport and healthy living in Halton by their leadership and/or example.”
