Thirty-five young carers from Widnes and Runcorn had a night to remember at their annual Christmas party at CRMZ, which included a visit from Father Christmas himself.
Organisers Halton Carers’ Centre and Halton Borough Council would like to thank volunteers who supported on the night, including Mike Farrell , the DJ, face painters and our members from Spoken and Heard (older young carers) who helped to keep the children entertained!
Staff also want to thanks Howden’s Joinery which made a generous donation that will be used to go towards day trips/ activities in the New Year.
Halton Borough Council Executive Board Member for Health and Wellbeing, Cllr Marie Wright, said: “These young people give so much for others during the year it is nice we can do something for them.”
