Halton’s Grangeway Community Centre welcomed BBC Radio Merseyside this morning for a live Breakfast Show hosted by Kevin Duala.

Kevin interviewed staff from the centre itself, Council services, community groups and organisations, all talking about the amazing work they do in the borough.

These included Halton’s community centres, library service, leisure centres, and the Brindley, along with Four Estates, Community Integrated Care, Knit & Natter Group, Stick & Step, Open 360 and Realise Training.

Two stars of the Brindley panto, Aladdin, Amanda Lovett and Sean Luckham, also joined in the fun – oh yes, they did!

And during the morning, generous local people called in with donations to Radio Merseyside Give a Gift appeal.
