This week marks the anniversary of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. To celebrate, the government wants to map local history across every corner of the UK, such as street parties, and personal moments that defined the late Queen’s 70-year reign.

The Queen Elizabeth Digital Memorial would love to hear the stories of Queen Elizabeth from your communities, to map the key moments in the life and reign of Queen Elizabeth, as a permanent record for future generations. Residents don’t need to have met the late Queen in person, whether it’s about the past Jubilee, a memory of a royal visit to your area, or simply a story of how a community came together, it all belongs in this record for future generations.

This isn’t just an archive; it’s a living map of personal memories, stories, and moments.

Residents across the country are being encouraged to share their stories. Help put Halton on the digital memorial map and share yours!
