We are changing the way that eligible 2-year-olds of families in receipt of additional support can access their funded hours in Halton (formerly known as disadvantaged 2-year-old funding)
Families in receipt of additional support may be able to claim 15 hours funded early years entitlement from their childcare provider.
Parents can now directly apply for funding through the council website by signing up to a citizen account in the same way they would for free school meals and school admission. Visit Early Years- 2 old funding for more information about eligibility and details of how to apply.
Parents will be given a code to take directly to their childcare provider. Search for local childcare providers here Synergy – Find childcare.
