More than 400 performers from local arts and drama groups, showed their talents in the annual Summer Song show at The Brindley – including a ‘fat’ version of the UK’s most famous boy band.

The show, commissioned by Halton Borough Council was put together by Victoria Music’s Rob Littler who had nothing but praise for everyone, some of who where taking to the stage for the first time.

He said: “It was a fabulous evening’s entertainment featuring H’Arts’n’Voices. Sunshine Singers, The Heath Drama Group, The Jukes, Victoria Music Ltd, Junior Dayvis, Runcorn Community Choir, Frodsham Sings some superb new young talent and fabulous dancers and headlined by Take Phat.

“It was a brilliant night of community theatre, showcasing the talent that exists in this borough. Young and old took to the stage and the finale with Take Phat and every performer on stage brought the house down!’

“I do what I do to engage local people in both community and the arts and last night was a labour of love that exceeded all my expectations. People went away buzzing!”

The show took place on Tuesday 27 June
