The Brindley Theatre in Runcorn is looking forward to welcoming you back for a packed programme of events this Autumn and Winter. The award-winning venue is getting ready for another dazzling season with something for everybody.

Highlights include names from the world of comedy, a legendary football presenter, a brilliant night of festive themed Irish music and a fairy-tale ballet.

From the world of music, you can catch classic Status Quo frontman Francis Rossi taking up his acoustic guitar to bring you a selection of well-known hits and some previously not-performed-live-before tunes, threaded together with chat about his career in music. The much-loved Drifters will be performing all their hits including Saturday Night at the Movies, You’re More Than a Number and Under the Boardwalk plus there will be great tributes to ABBA, Prince, The Eagles, Johnny Cash and more.

There are still some tickets left for An Evening with Jeff Stelling, an exclusive evening of football nostalgia with the Sky Sports TV legend, hosted by his Bianca Westwood on Wednesday 24 January.

Top comedians, Ed Byrne, Jimeoin, Stan Boardman all feature, as does Jack Carroll, the Britain’s Got Talent Runner-Up and star of Live at the Apollo, QI and the sitcom Trollied, who brings his new show ‘Walking Funny’ to the Brindley Studio on Thursday 21 September.

One of the jewels of Tchaikovsky’s repertoire The Nutcracker will be performed by Crown Ballet on Tuesday 24 October, as a wonderful treat full of glitter for the whole family!

In the run up to the festive season, there is a Rhythm of the Dance Christmas Special on Wednesday 1 November, which is a special journey that is Irish in essence, with an added touch of festive magic.

Tickets are on sale now for the Brindley’s magical pantomime which this is Sleeping Beauty and once again features Brindley favourites Andrew Curphey, Rebecca Lake and Charlotte Dacia, which runs from Thursday 7 December until Sunday 7 January.
