The people who brought you Sunny Runny Runcorn, Bread & Butter Productions, presents Canoe at Halton Borough Council’s Brindley Theatre on Saturday 29 September.

Fatherhood. A fatal canoe accident. “Who are we now, we don’t have kids?” A couple come face to face with the powerlessness of parenthood in a powerful tale of love, loss and legacy.

Critically acclaimed Canoe premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2018. Writer and performer, Matthew Roberts, collaborated with Struan Leslie (founding Head of Movement RSC and Katie Mitchell’s movement director for 15 years) to create ‘a one-hander masterpiece’ Charles Pamment, Artistic Director, The SpaceUK.

Tickets includes a workshop with a member of the team behind the show exploring the creative process involved in devising the piece.
