Calling all Halton apprentices – you are invited to a celebration of your success at the Liverpool City Region Apprenticeship Graduation ceremony.
Liverpool City Region Apprenticeship Hub is proud to announce the launch of an apprenticeship graduation event taking place during National Apprenticeship Week on Thursday 7 March at St George’s Hall, Liverpool.
The event aims to give apprentices from the six Liverpool City Region boroughs; Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens, Wirral, the same recognition that university students receive on the completion of a degree.
Residents who have completed an apprenticeship during the 2017/2018 academic year are being encouraged to take part in the ceremony, which will recognise and reward their success in front of their family and friends.
More than 9000 people completed an apprenticeship within the City Region last year and only 450 tickets are available for this one-off event. Tickets are free of charge and apprentices from all industry sectors are encouraged to secure their ticket via liverpoolcityregionapprenticeshipgraduation.eventbrite.co.uk by Friday 15 February 2019.
Siobhan Saunders, Chair of Liverpool City Region Apprenticeship Hub, highlights the importance of recognising apprentices and their employers in the region:
“Liverpool City Region has many outstanding examples of committed, high achieving apprentices. In addition we have many pioneering and committed businesses who recruit apprentices, and drive forward the apprenticeship agenda for the success of the region. This graduation ceremony is an opportunity to recognise the efforts of these apprentices and to celebrate the positive impact they have.”
