Comedy legend Lee Nelson is returning to the Brindley Theatre, Runcorn on Thursday 27 April.

After getting into trouble for sneaking into places he shouldn’t be, Lee Nelson is back where he most definitely should be: live on stage with his brand-new, laugh-out-loud, best ever stand-up show ‘Serious Joker’.

Famous for his ‘Well Good Show’ on BBC3 he is a character created by Simon Brodkin.

He has provoked a response of “Comedy legend’ from The Sun, “Comedy Genius” from The Mirror and a “You should be ashamed of yourself”, from former FIFA President Sepp Blatter, after his gatecrashed a FIFA press conference, throwing money at Mr Blatter

Brodkin – in character as Premiership footballer Jason Bent – began warming up with the Manchester City players, who were preparing for a game at Goodison Park against Everton.

He attempted to join the England squad on their flight to Brazil for the World Cup. Later that year, on November 8, Brodkin invaded ITV’s The X Factor and started performing alongside Stereo Kicks

Brodkin famously stormed the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury and began rapping with Kanye West, tried to deliver ‘Nazi’ golf balls to Donald Trump and re-name Sir Philip Green’s yacht
