Foster4, the Council’s foster carer recruitment service, is celebrating its second birthday by thanking foster carers old and new.

Reaching its second anniversary, Foster4 continues to expand – recruiting carers on behalf of the four Cheshire local authorities – Halton, Warrington, Cheshire East and Cheshire West and Chester.

Halton Borough Council’s Executive Board member for Children, Education and Social Care, Cllr Tom McInerney, said  “Our foster carers are continuing to give vulnerable children and young people a safe, stable home in these uncertain times. Our carers have completely welcomed some changes to their role as we develop news ways to support, communicate and work together- their hard work and dedication is incredible and we are enormously grateful.”

All newly recruited households will receive a thank you email from the Foster4 service as a small gesture of its appreciation.
