Halton Borough Council caretaker Colin Poole has set himself a charity challenge over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend, May 27-29 when he is going to walk from Leeds to Widnes, with a little help from his friends!
As a Leeds Rhinos fan (well, someone has to be) Colin will set off from Headingley Stadium and walk the 65 miles to Widnes, finishing at the Select Security Stadium
in time see his team take on Widnes Vikings on the Bank Holiday Monday.
And it’s all for a great cause – he is raising money for St Rocco’s Hospice in memory of Kim Patino.
So are you up for the challenge?
Several colleagues have already signed up to take part – but the more the merrier! If you would like to join the walk – or pledge your support through sponsorship
