Halton Borough Council are asking people with lived experiences to share those experiences in a new survey to inform the new Domestic Abuse Needs Assessment.
The Domestic Abuse Needs Assessment is a document that looks at how prevalent domestic abuse is in the local area and what services are currently being provided to support those affected. It helps the council and partners understand where the gaps are, what’s working well, and how support can be improved.
Through understand the needs of people who have experienced domestic abuse in Halton we can make crucial decisions on the future of the services available and ensure these are shaped around real needs, not just numbers!
This survey is a chance for people to tell us about their own experience and about any services they may have used. The survey can also be completed on behalf of other people, if you know someone who has experienced domestic abuse and tried to help them.
We’re looking for feedback from:
- Service users in Halton
- Someone who knows a service user in Halton
- Someone who has or has tried to access support for domestic abuse in Halton
