There is a treat for lovers of soul music when Roy G Hemmings returns to the Brindley Theatre, Runcorn on Friday 24 May.
Understood as the longest serving former member of legendary group, The Drifters, Roy has entertained audiences around the world with his easy, relaxed style and fabulous voice in a career that spans four decades and includes appearances in several Royal Variety shows and twice at The White House for the then president Bill Clinton.
Roy will be backed by the fabulous Love Supremes and The Dictionary of Soul Band in what will be over two hours of classic hits.
He will be performing the songs of The Temptations, The Four Tops, Martha Reeves & the Vandellas, The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie and more.
Expect hits such as Dancing In The Street, Stop, In the Name of Love, Ain’t No Mountain High, Baby Love, Get Ready and many more.
