One of Halton’s bright young stars takes to the stage at the Brindley Theatre on Friday 25 May in An Evening with Ella McKevitt.
Following her recent winning performance on Halton’s Got Talent, Ella invites you to an evening of music, old and new. At just 18 years old, she can look forward to a bright future and will present a memorable evening in the Brindley’s intimate Studio venue.
Ella is influenced by R&B and Soul singers such as Aretha Franklin, Etta James and of course Ella Fitzgerald, who she is named after.
She enjoys taking old styles and bringing them up to date in the style of contemporary singers like Jorja Smith and Ray BLK.
Ella performed at the first Summer in the City at Shopping City Runcorn and went on to sing at Old Trafford, Manchester’s Winter Wonderland and at several Christmas lights switch-on events including London, Bury and Warrington.
She has recorded the track Be the Change for a charity called C&D who work closely with the River Reeves foundation and she is currently studying at BIMM in Manchester for professional musicianship.
Don’t miss this opportunity to see one of the region’s brightest new talents in an intimate environment.
Tickets are £12 from www.thebrindley.org.uk and the Brindley box office on 0151 907 8360
