Folk/rock legend Rick Kemp is coming to the Brindley Theatre (Studio) on Sunday 20 October An evening of songs and stories.
Rick is best known to most as a member of the legendary folk/rock band Steeleye Span, but alongside and before and after that association Rick has had a varied and exciting life in music. The evening will consist of his many reminiscences and stories of that time.
Some will feature famous names we all will know (David Bowie, Peter Sellers, The Eurythmics, The Beach Boys), but perhaps the most interesting will be of people and events that we have never heard about.
Rick Kemp is, as many will be aware, a superb songwriter and the evening will include many of his excellent songs. It will be a absorbing evening from someone with an excellent story to tell and a tremendous dry wit that draws laughter from his audience.
Each performance is unique, riveting, touching and very funny, in fact a special night not to be missed!
