The Brindley Theatre in Runcorn is looking forward to welcoming you back for their packed programme of events this Autumn and Winter.
Highlights include legendary rockers, not one, but two stars from Dr. Who, a brilliant Dinosaur show for the whole family plus a host of festive events at Christmas.
Famous frontmen John Lydon (Sex Pistols, PIL) and Francis Rossi from Status Quo both present one-man shows and there are performances by soul legends The Drifters and The Real Thing, plus the return of local girl made-good, Halton born award-winning, singer/songwriter Jenny Colquitt in January.
There are many fantastic tribute shows, including ELO, The Police, Buddy Holly, The Eagles and many more. Plus, Something About George, the truly remarkable story of the quiet Beatle, George Harrison.
Colin Baker (Doctor Who, The Brothers) and Terry Molloy (The Archers, Doctor Who) appear in October in Sherlock Holmes & The Sign of Four, presented as radio play live on stage. This is a rare chance to see these popular actors live at your local theatre.
For families, Dinosaur Adventure Live! is coming to the Brindley on 27 October, when you will be able to watch life-like dinosaurs come alive right on stage!
Always a special treat is the return of ballet to the Brindley when Crown Ballet present The Nutcracker in November. This is a wonderful treat full of glitter for the whole family, in the lead up to Christmas.
The annual Brindley pantomime this year, is the ever-popular Cinderella, once again presented by the brilliant New Pantomime Productions. Other festive events include Santa’s Christmas Party, especially for 2–7 years and starring Santa himself! Plus, a powerful and humorous version of A Christmas Carol, an Elvis Christmas Show and some favourite Christmas Films in the Brindley’s festively decorated Studio.
This is just a taster of a varied and entertaining programme. You can see details of all events at www.thebrindley.org.uk or by picking up a brochure from the Brindley foyer and many outlets across Halton. Contact the box office on 0151 907 8360 for more information.
