If you want to re-subscribe to Halton Borough Council’s garden waste collection service, the deadline is approaching.
Up until now we have been emptying bins displaying 2019/20 licences, however, we will stop doing this as of Saturday 1 August.
Subscriptions can still be paid for after that date, but any green bins presented for collection after Saturday 1 August without displaying a valid 2020/21 licence will not be emptied.
The 2020/21 subscription year runs until 31st May 2021 and the charge to receive collections up until that date is £35 per bin.
Payments can currently be made on-line at www.halton.gov.uk/gardenwaste or over the telephone by calling 0303 333 4300 and choosing option 3. As it can take up to 14 days for your licence sticker to arrive, please subscribe in plenty of time to ensure that you don’t miss any collections.
