Halton Borough Council, working with a local Veterans Group and in collaboration with the Halton BID Team and the Halebank Businesses, have organised another Community Clean Up event in Halebank.
The Clean Up event will take place on Friday 27th June. Volunteers from the Veterans Group, Halton Borough Council, Halton Housing and local businesses will be meeting in the car park outside the Co Op on Hale Road at 10am and will be carrying out litter picking, cleaning and rubbish removal until 3pm.
Cllr Marie Wright, Executie Board member and ward councillor for Ditton, Hale Village and Halebank, is encouraging those who are available to join in saying:
“It’s great to see the Council, our partners and local businesses coming together to work alongside our veterans in this litter clean-up effort – I’d encourage anyone who is available to come along and join in.
“The continued service to the community of our veterans is an inspiration to us all.
“Their dedication reminds us all that keeping our neighbourhoods clean and welcoming is everyone’s responsibility”
If you are local and would like to get involved please join us and help keep your local neighbourhood clean and tidy.
