Halton residents can once again enjoy the borough’s much-loved local Firework Display which will take place on Sunday November 2 at 7pm.

The spectacular display will be launched from the iconic Silver Jubilee Bridge, providing a clear view of the fireworks for residents of Runcorn and Widnes.

Viewing areas are at West Bank Promenade in Widnes and Mersey Road Promenade in Runcorn.

A small number of accessible toilets will be provided.

The Silver Jubilee Bridge will be closed to traffic from 6am to 10pm on the day, and there will be a number of road closures in West Bank and Runcorn town centre.

The pedestrian footpath on the Silver Jubilee Bridge will be closed from 6pm to 8pm but open as normal the rest of the day.

The event is kindly sponsored by Creamfields, Marshall/CDP, Langtree, Tarmac and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

We hope the residents of Halton have a safe and enjoyable evening.
