Halton Borough Council and Halton Carers’ Centre have organised a Christmas Party for young carers, many for whom, Christmas is just another day – and you can help by donating cash.
The event will take place from 6pm to 8 pm on Thursday 15 December at CRMZ in Widnes.
Santa will be coming. There will be a disco, face painting, and refreshments. Each child will receive a present box.
Halton Borough Council’s Executive Board Member for Health and Wellbeing, Cllr Marie Wright, said: “A lot of these young people don’t have a lot to look forward to, so it is important to give them some fun at Christmas,”
Anyone with any money to donate, so staff can buy suitable gifts for the young carers, can drop it into Halton Carers’ Centre, Church Street, Runcorn.
