Two of Halton’s own talents have been booked for our #Brindleypanto, Cinderella, this year, adding sparkle to the much anticipated family friendly performances.
Joining X Factor’s Sam Callahan will be returning favourites Andrew Curphey and Charlotte Dacia, from December 8 to January 9, at the multi-award winning venue.
Andrew Curphey will be ‘Buttons’ while Charlotte Dacia will play the ‘Fairy Godmother’.
Andrew returns as the Brindley panto’s resident comic. He has worked extensively putting on theatre workshops and performing for more than 20 years.
He has been able to develop himself as a committed theatre practitioner, performer and entertainer.
Over the past thirteen years Andrew has created and continues to manage and direct the hugely successful Andrew Curphey Theatre Company, with more than 280+ children and young people enrolled across evening classes in various towns across Cheshire.
Each year the company produce various showcases and musical productions. Also, as a qualified teacher he delivers drama/theatre workshops in many schools and colleges.
“I just can’t wait to get back performing panto at The Brindley,” he said. “And I can’t wait to see familiar faces in the cast, crew and audience.
“It’s going to be my 5th year in a row… I’m part of the furniture!”

One of Halton’s most sparkling young talents, Charlotte won our first ever Halton’s Got Talent, as a teenager with an operatic performance which astounded the judges.
She is a graduate of the Hammond School. Since graduating, she has appeared in several professional shows, UK Tours and pantomimes, has recorded at the prestigious Angel Studios in London and performed at international retail corporate functions at The Excel Centre, London.
She performed for a year in Cyprus as a singer/dancer in a touring musical theatre company and has appeared twice at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall alongside Britain’s Got Talent finalist Beau Dermott.
In 2014, Charlotte was cast as a principal vocalist on board the prestigious Silversea World Cruise and then reprised this role on the final voyage of the Silver Cloud vessel performing a variety of Musical Theatre, Pop, Rock, Classical and Opera to audiences on the high seas.
While on board she performed her own cabaret show “Musicals and Mischief” comprising of classic and contemporary comedy musical theatre pieces. Charlotte’s one woman show “An Audience With Charlotte Dacia” was received with critical acclaim at The Brindley Theatre for two years running and is one of her proudest achievements.
Charlotte is also a vocal coach and dance teacher for Art In Motion dance and Theatre school, Runcorn where she passes on her passion for performing to her students whilst continuing to audition and work in the industry. In addition, she is a keen long distance runner, running several marathons a year for various charities.
Charlotte said: “I cannot wait to return to the beautiful Brindley theatre stage this Christmas and spread some festive cheer!”
