Are you an artist, musician singer, dancer, performer or small group involved in creative activity of any kind, and resident in Halton?

Made in Halton small arts grants are available for you to make your ideas come true. The grants can help you put on a play, gig, exhibition, themed event, make a short film or any kind of arts event, anywhere you fancy…in your back garden if you like!

We are keen for individuals or small groups to come forward and apply for the grants which could really help them out.

Made in Halton is a small grant commissioning programme for arts, culture and heritage projects created by artists, creatives and community groups, living or based in the borough, as part of the ‘Celebrate Halton’ Borough of Culture 2021.

Selections will be made via a panel of people from key cultural organisations in the borough.

The grants can be used to fund the total cost of the project or as seed funding for further grant applications made by applicants.

Applications are open until 30 November 2021 via the form on the website at www.celebratehalton.co.uk/made-in-halton

The aim of Celebrate Halton is to increase participation in quality cultural activity across Halton, helping more people experience the arts and to benefit from the role that culture can play in transforming lives – improving health and wellbeing, reducing social isolation, increasing community cohesion, inspiring creativity, supporting learning and making Halton a great place to live and work.

Borough of Culture is all about celebrating the borough’s past, present and future through a programme of small community-led activities to large-scale events. Visit www.celebratehalton.co.uk
