Almost 100 young hopefuls came to panto auditions at our Brindley Theatre, all hoping to tread the boards with the stars of Beauty and the Beast.

This is believed to be the largest ever turn out for a #Brindleypanto auditions.

Dazzling costumes, fabulous scenery and some truly magical surprises are just a few of the things successful nine to 18-year olds can now expect.

For the run of the performances there will be professional principal actors and three casts of children’s chorus.

The three children’s casts will alternate performances between Monday 10 December, 2018 and Sunday 13 January, 2019 which will include some schools performances.

Darren Maddison, of Polka Dot Pantomines, which produces the show for Halton Borough Council, said; “Standard was very strong and we are very happy with the successful twenty four”

Dame Rob Squire and Scouse actor Charlie Griffiths were recently revealed as returning to the glittering cast, for the magical tale.

They will join actor model and former Miss British Isles Rebecca Lake and local theatre star, Andrew Curphey , in the Brindley production.

Beauty And The Beast, presented by Polka Dot Pantomines, runs from 10 December 2018 to 13 January 2019.
