There is a unique musical evening in store at the Brindley Theatre Runcorn when the legendary singer and songwriter Andy Fairweather Low appears on Wednesday 3 October.

Andy Fairweather Low’s pedigree is the stuff rock dreams are made of. He first came to prominence as the lead singer in Amen Corner, who clocked up hit after hit such as Bend Me Shape Me, Hello Suzy and ( If Paradise is ) Half As Nice. He later followed this with massive solo hits such as Wide Eyed & Legless.

Since the early days Andy has gone on to work with Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Elton John, Roger Waters, Dave Gilmour and many more.

A world tour as musical director with Roger Waters band then a European tour with Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings might be difficult to top for most people, but not for Andy Fairweather Low who has released the album the Zone-O-Tone in 2014 with is band the Low Riders containing some of the world’s finest musicians in Dave Bronze (Bass & Vocals), Paul Beavis (Drums & Richard Dunn) and Nick Pentelow (Sax & Clarinet).

In 2014, Andy & The Low Riders played a show at The New Theatre in Cardiff as part of their tour and the show was both filmed and recorded for release as a DVD / Double live CD as the latest new chapter in their developing story.

In May 2015 Andy and the band were the opening act for Eric Clapton’s 70th Birthday tour starting at Madison Square Garden, New York.
This tour also features the extended line up including the addition of the Hi Riders Special Soul Review – an extended brass section and Hammond organ throughout the show. The line up is; Andy Fairweather Low – Guitar & Vocals, Dave Bronze – Bass & Vocals, Paul Beavis – Drums, Nick Pentelow – Sax & Clarinet., Richard Milner – Hammond Organ, Pete Cook – Baritone Sax, Matt Winch – Trumpet.
