Our Dames are bringing their particularly type of glamour to Runcorn in the #Brindleypanto

TESS will be played by MATT DALLEN, while CLAUDIA will be brought to life by RUSS EVANS

They will be joining X Factor’s Sam Callahan , favourites Andrew Curphey and Charlotte Dacia, from December 8 to January 9, at the multi-award winning venue.

And we can announce audience favourite Rebecca Lake will also be back – as ‘Cinders’ herself.

Matt said he is delighted to be back at the Brindley in what will be his 20th year performing in Pantomimes across the country!

Like for so many it’s been a rollercoaster few years however, it has allowed Matt to spend extra precious time with his wife and two children.

Matt has also changed jobs and now heads up the Events and Storytelling at BeWILDerwood Cheshire, an amazing outdoor family woodland full of zip wires and structures.

Within the first few months of starting his new role Matt successfully created and put on the first ever Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade over the October half term.

Along with every single performer Matt has also missed standing on stage and performing to a live audience and as you read this will be in his dressing room listening to the buzz of excitement build by you the audience so no pressure but…. he can hear you and you only have yourselves to blame if you are not loud enough!!!

He said: “I would like to thank wife Carly who has been an absolute rock while he has changed jobs and supported him in everything he has done…….oh and also thank you for letting him borrow her tights!!!”

Russ’s Acting career has spanned over 16 years, across Theatre, TV & Film. He trained at The Birmingham Theatre School, where he discovered a flair for playing big character roles and in particular comedy.

His Theatre credits include Landlord in ‘Two’, Trevor in ‘Trevor’s House’ and Edmund in ‘The Lion, The Witch and the wardrobe. TV credits include playing the role of Mac in CITV’s ‘Bottom Knocker Street’ starring alongside comedian Phill Jupitus.

Russ has also created his own theatre company and produced and starred in shows at The Edinburgh Fringe, and The Canal Café Theatre in London.

Russ loves panto, and it his definately his favourite time of year! Starring as the Dame in Dick Whittington in Guildford, Silly Billy in Sleeping Beauty and Friar Tuck in Robin Hood and is really excited to be making his Brindley debut as Claudia in Cinderella this year!
