Does your child love creepy crawlies? Halton Borough Council had quite a few at Castlefields Community Centre on Tuesday 7 August, with bug related arts and crafts. And it only cost £1 per child.
They got up close and personal with a Tenrec (Lesser Hedgehog), Madagascan Hissing Cockroach, Giant African Land Snail, a Corn Snake and Chilean Rose Tarantula among others, in our first ‘Bug Fest’.
Centre Manager Alison Watson, said: “We sold out all the tickets for the event and everyone (children and parents) seemed to enjoy holding and getting up close and personal with the creatures.”
