The Brindley Theatre, Runcorn, is looking forward to welcoming you back for their packed programme of events this Spring. The new season is already underway at the award-winning venue, with another dazzling season with something for everybody.
Highlights include some legendary pop stars from 60’s, 70’s and 80s’, a popular TV vet as you’ve never seen him before, well-known names from the comedy scene and several brilliant family shows including a great Easter panto.
Sixties rockers The Manfreds, Seventies soul kings The Real Thing and Eighties pop star Paul Young all feature in the music programme and there are also many fantastic tribute shows, with tributes to Amy Winehouse, The Stone Roses, Taylor Swift, Queen, Abba, Elvis, a K-Pop show for the younger fans and many more.
The latest instalment of the hilarious Desperate Scousewives is coming in May and there are stand-up shows by established comedians Crissy Rock and Gary Delaney.
Brindley pantomime favourite and star of Britain’s Got Talent ,Andrew Curphey, teams up with the West End and Broadway star Kerry Ellis (Wicked, Les Misérables, We Will Rock You) for a dazzling night of live music, showstopping performances, behind-the-scenes stories in a truly unmissable celebration of theatre and song.
There’s a chance to see the much-loved TV vet Noel Fitzpatrick in a different light when he presents his show Medicine & Music, about the extraordinary lessons learned from animals and Noel’s unexpected gift for music – with his favourite rock songs played live.
As always, there are lots of family shows including The Dinosaur That Pooped, Sooty, Amazing Animals, the popular Nick Pope’s family show from CBeebies and not forgetting the annual Easter pantomime the Wizard of Oz, starring children’s TV legend Basil Brush, Coronation Street’s Alex Bain and Steven Arnold, the outrageous Jordan Bateman, Rob Stuart-Hudson and Brindley panto favourite Rebecca Lake.
