The latest in the Talking Science events run by the Science and Technology Facilities Council, Daresbury Laboratory, takes place on Thursday 7 March, 7pm – 8.30pm, at the Heath Conference Centre, Runcorn.
Join chemist and author Dr Kathryn Harkup as she takes us on a journey through history where humans have sought to embellish and augment their physical appearance in the name of fashion. As this talk will illustrate, some fashions can be fatal!
