Halton Borough Council’s Sure Start to Later Life is looking for volunteers in Widnes and Runcorn.

It needs people  to help older people in a number of areas including :

– IT volunteers
– Befriending
– Volunteer drivers

Halton Borough Council’s Executive Board Member for Health and Wellbeing, Cllr Marie Wright said: “If you would like to help enrich people’s lives simply with a cup of tea and friendly chat then volunteer with us! “
