The Winter Coat recycling scheme is a project run by Halton & St Helens Voluntary and Community Action. Following three successful years, the project is back for 2025 and we want to help make it another great year by reaching out to our networks and communities.

What to drop off

Clean, gently used winter coats for men, women, boys, and girls with working zips and buttons.

By donating, you’re not only helping someone stay warm this winter, you’re also helping the planet. Giving your pre-loved coats a second life reduces textile waste and keeps them out of landfill.

Drop-off points are now open so if you have any coats to spare, in particular children’s coats, please consider donating.

Let’s wrap our community this winter. Thank you for your support!
