Halton Borough Council is welcoming two of the county’s top dancers back to our panto this year, after proving so popular last year.
Choreographer/ lead dancer Lindsey Alexander and lead dancer Hollie Glossip, with years of international experience between them, with be dancing the light fantastic in Sleeping Beauty at the venue.
They join star Crissy Rock and a host of other names at the award winning venue for Sleeping Beauty.
Lindsey has recently returned from America where she spent the best part of four years as both the Resident Director and Dance Captain of the Broadway Theatre at the New York New York Casino and the Planet Hollywood Casino in Las Vegas.
From there she then embarked on a tour throughout the US and Canada seeing her share the stage with Dolly Parton in Dollywood.
Previous to this Lindsey travelled the world on board Carnival Cruise Lines as a Dancer and Dance Captain f and performed in numerous UK Tours including Simply Big Band and Spirit of the Dance.
As a qualified dance teacher Lindsey also teaches dance and puts on guest workshops in numerous dance schools throughout the North West.
Hollie first started dancing at the tender age of two at her local dance school in Sheffield, Sharon Berry’s School of Theatre dance. After discovering her love for performing and completing her A Levels, she gained a place at Performers College in Essex.
Here she studied for three years for her National Diploma in Musical theatre and dance. During her time at college she was lucky enough to have some amazing opportunities like dancing at the FA cup opening ceremony at Wembley Stadium and performing a tribute to the Tiller Girls at the London Palladium.
Since graduating in 2014, Hollie joined a showgirl company called Showgirl Entertainments with whom she has travelled all over the UK and Europe. Carrying on the showgirl theme, Hollie also worked all over Scotland with Circus Vegas as part of their showgirl troupe.
The last few years have been jam packed with travel for Hollie as she spent six months working as Dance captain in a hotel resort in Malta and then she joined the cruise company CMV and had contracts on three of their gorgeous ships including their flag ship Columbus where she performed all around the world, from the Caribbean to the Baltic Sea.
As well as dancing, Hollie has also had a few modelling jobs which include; Amy Childs Boutique, Debenhams fashion awards and Asos market place.
They both say they are thrilled to come back to Halton this year.
The show also features former Miss British Isles Rebecca Lake, actor/model and reality TV star Christopher Pym, local theatre star, Andrew Curphey and veteran dame Robert Squire , in the Brindley production.
Actress/singer Charlie Griffiths has also joined the cast. You may just recognise her from last year when she put in a top-notch performance as Fairy Flustered – one of the most popular characters in the show.
We also have a star of CITV. You may also recognise theatre stalwart Nick Wymer from parts in Father Ted, Paul Merton The Series and The Bill.
The all-rounder, who will play our King, has also appeared in ads for Weetabix and a Bollywood blockbuster as well as numerous TV shows and theatre productions (even a stint in a show in Beirut!)
