There is a very special evening with two of Halton’s rising stars when An Audience with Lucy McDiarmid plus Special Guests comes to the Brindley Studio on Friday 13 April.
Lucy’s musical talent has blossomed in recent years, passing ABRSM piano exams and Trinity college exams with distinction.
She has a rare talent of being able to play piano by ear. Challenging herself, she entered Halton’s Got Talent in 2016 and was sent through to the final with the famous golden buzzer.
Lucy’s goal was to gain experience performing in front of a crowd, but wowing the judges with her piano and vocal skills, she was crowned the Halton’s Got Talent overall winner and was featured in the Runcorn & Widnes World and Liverpool Echo.
She has just signed her first record deal with independent label as/if Records to release her own re-work of Chris Isaak’s ‘Wicked Game’ in April, following a day in the studio with Ian Bland who has remixed the likes of Prince and Queen.
He was so impressed with Lucy’s voice and the finished track, he signed her on the spot. Following circulation to a few music producers, Lucy already has offers on the table to provide vocals on tracks for pop and dance tracks.
Supporting Lucy on this very special night will be Amy Jones, no stranger to Halton’s Got Talent herself, she was a finalist in both 2016 & 2017 with impressing the judges and a sell-out audience with both her acoustic guitar and vocals.
There will be other special guests on the night.
