A warm festive welcome awaits at the annual Runcorn Town Hall Open Day on Saturday 1 December, 10am – 4pm. Admission is free.
The Mayor of Halton’s Fundraising Committee will be raising money for The Fellowship Centre and Widnes & Runcorn Cancer Support Group.
There will be various stalls – tombola, raffle, book stall, cupcake stall, face painting and of course Father Christmas will be in the grotto throughout the day.
The following school choirs will be singing in the Council Chamber on the day: 10.30am Astmoor Primary; 11.05am Moore Primary; 11.40am The Grange; 2.25pm St Martin’s Primary.
If you have any items that could be of use for the tombola or raffle, such unwanted gifts toys, bric-a-brac, or any items that could make up a Christmas food hamper, i.e. Christmas cake, Christmas pudding, mince pies, coffee, tea, biscuits, chocolates, etc., they would be very gratefully received.
Items can be dropped off either at Municipal Building, Widnes, for the attention of Kay Sparks, or at Reception at Runcorn Town Hall no later than Thursday 29 November.
