Meet some of the stars of Snow White our #Brindleypanto at The Brindley Theatre which starts on December 11 and runs until January. There’s no Snow White panto without the dwarfs!

Gwynneth Hoyle who will play Cononel. Gwynneth lives in Harrogate,North Yorkshire, where she has enjoyed roles in local productions such as Dad’s Army,Stags and Hens, Jack and the Beanstalk, Sleeping Beauty.

She is also a TV extra in various episodes of Emmerdale. Plus she appears on social media in a couple of short comedy adverts, including for icelolly.com

In 2018 Gwynneth appeared in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in Bolton. She is delighted to be performing at The Brindley in Runcorn.

Sarah Knowles will play Grouchy. This year will be Sarah’s third time performing in pantomime.

This will be another great run to add to various previous work in feature film, short film, theatre and animation.

After studying performing arts at college and achieving medals in LAMDA exams, Sarah gained experience as a Redcoat (entertainer) at Butlins, Skegness and taking part in theatre shows, auditions, gaining lead roles in short films as well as working in bars.

The 4.9ft actress performed in Snow White at The Kings Theatre Southsea, Portsmouth in 2012 and the Theatre Royal in Bath last year. In 2017 she had the opportunity to work as a stand in for Jurassic World 2.

Sarah is very looking forward to having fun in this year’s Snow White and wishes you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

The other dwarfs are played by young people.

It’s a welcome return to the Brindley Theatre, Runcorn for Michael Starke who features in this year’s fantastic festive pantomime Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs at the award-winning Halton venue from 11 December to 12 January.

Mums, dads and grandmas and grandads will remember Michael from his days as Sinbad in the Liverpool based soap opera Brookside.

This was a role he played for almost 16 years, before going on to roles in The Royal as Ken Hopkirk and Coronation Street as kebab shop owner Jerry Morton.

Show White also stars Michael’s wife and actress Lynn Francis as the Wicked queen plus Brindley panto favourites Rebecca Lake as Snow White, Andrew Curphey as Muddles, Charlie Griffiths as Fairy and Chris Pym as the Prince.

It’s sure to have the usual spectacular scenery, dazzling costumes, hilarious jokes, singalong songs and fun for all the family. So don’t delay, book today!

We have cast our two adult ‘dwarfs’  for our #Brindleypanto at The Brindley which starts on December 11 and runs until January 12. Rehearsals started this week for the glittering production.
