It may sound a bit niche – But Halton Borough Council’s Frank Myler Pavilion,  is starting a new boxing class for people with Parkinson’s Disease.

‘Rock Steady’ on Thursdays 2.45pm to 4pm at the Liverpool Road centre, staring on Thursday 29 November, came about when Tommy O’Connor, a qualified boxing coach with the condition, just back from USA. contacted our Sports Development Team offering the service.

The first six weeks are FREE!

Scientists have proven it improves hand eye co-ordination, mood, movement, flexibility, strength agility for people with Parkinson’s.
