Halton Borough Council’s Town Hall Open Day is taking place on Saturday 2nd December, 10am – 4pm, Admission free.

Members of the Mayor’s Fundraising Team will be undertaking fundraising activities for Child Bereavement UK and The Fellowship Centre, Widnes.

There will be various craft stalls, tombola and raffle stall, and of course Father Christmas will be in the grotto throughout the day.

Should you have any items that could be of use for the tombola or raffle (ie. unwanted gifts) toys, bric-a-brac, or any items that could make up a Christmas food hamper, ie. Christmas cake, Christmas pudding, mince pies, coffee, tea, biscuits, chocolates, etc. they would be very gratefully received.

Items can be dropped off either at Municipal Building, Widnes, for the attention of Kay Sparks, or at Reception at Runcorn Town Hall for the attention of Joe Mather Burns.

All items would be required no later than Thursday 30th November.

The following schools will be singing in the Council Chamber on the day.

11.40am – 12 noon           St Martin’s Catholic Primary School

1.00pm – 1.20pm              St Michael’s Catholic Primary School

1.50pm – 2.10pm              Our Lady Mother of the Saviour Catholic Primary School

2.40pm – 3pm                   Runcorn All Saints CE Primary School
