Famous fairytale Beauty and the Beast is coming to Halton Borough Council’s award-winning venue, The Brindley Theatre, Runcorn.
On Tuesday 11 February, the much respected dance company Allegro Dance Touring Company return to The Brindley with a showcase of new and varied dance works and an adaptation of the story of Beauty and the Beast.
The performance includes choreographies in Spanish dance, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Modern, Commercial, Street Dance and Musical Theatre.
Their version of Beauty and the Beast is based on the traditional fairytale, but sees Belle’s father as an author forced to travel afar to sell his books. Savaged by wolves, he stumbles across the Beast’s castle.
Allegro Dance Touring Company takes dance to the community and aims to raise the quality of arts education amongst young people through innovative performances.
