The Brindley Theatre’s brilliant annual festival pantomime is almost upon us once again – oh yes it is! – and once again it stars our favourite funny man, Andrew Curphey.
Over the years Andrew has become the glue that holds the Brindley panto together along with the other Brindley regulars Rebecca Lake and Charlotte Dacia.
Andrew has been performing for over 22 years and is known locally for his extensive work, delivering theatre workshops. He has been able to develop himself as a committed theatre practitioner, performer and entertainer.
Fifteen years ago Andrew created the hugely successful Andrew Curphey Theatre Company. With more than 350 children and young people enrolled across evening theatre classes in Widnes, Runcorn, Warrington and Frodsham. Each year the company produce various theatrical showcases and musical productions. Andrew continues to teach classes, direct productions, and manage the company. As a qualified teacher, Andrew’s work also includes delivering performing arts workshops in many local primary schools.
In March 2023 Andrew presented ‘Andrew Curphey LIVE’ to a sold-out audience at the Brindley Theatre. He is super excited to return with a brand-new one man show in May 2024. Join Andrew as he takes to the stage, with an evening of pure entertainment that is guaranteed to entertain the whole family.
