Due to a large number of unauthorised memorials that have been placed on or around graves in the lawned areas of Runcorn, Widnes and Halton Cemeteries, Halton Council is advising grave owners and leaseholders that unauthorised memorials will be removed as part of the ongoing commitment to improve safety within the borough’s cemeteries.
