Runcorn and Widnes town centres are getting ready for Christmas and Halton Borough Council has some fun family activities planned.
On Saturday 30 November, 12pm-3pm, in Widnes town centre, you can see Father Christmas and his reindeer, plus Snow White and other cast members from The Brindley pantomime.
Free grotto with gift bag, free rodeo penguin and free face painting. There will be entertainers, a choir, stalls and small children’s fairground rides.
Then on Friday 6 December, 3.30pm-7pm, in Runcorn town centre, you can meet Father Christmas and his reindeer and see Snow White in her glass carriage.
The free grotto with gift is open 3.30pm-6.30pm. There is free face painting, free lantern workshops, entertainers, choir, and small children’s fairground rides. A lantern parade at 6.30pm will round off the evening.
Another great family day is Panto in the Park on Sunday 1 December, 12pm-3pm, in Victoria Park.
Meet Snow White in her glass coach and other panto cast members. Free Santa’s grotto with gift bag, free train rides and donkey rides, and free face painting, plus a choir and small children’s fair attractions.
