The play TWO, a sharp and touching slice of English life set in a Northern pub is coming to the Brindley Theatre on Wednesday 20 June.

Starring friends Louis Emerick (Brookside, Layer Cake, Zapped) and writer and actress Lynne Fitzgerald (Desperate Scousewives, Bunty the Bouncer, Show Us Ye Tips).

A series of short monologues and duologues that skilfully combine pathos and humour make this a wonderfully observed character study of a traditional Northern pub.

Its eccentric customers and its warring landlord and landlady are all played skilfully by our two actors.

TWO takes many clever twists and turns before reaching its powerful and unexpected climax.

A remarkable blend of outright humour and dark sadness, the play has fascinated audiences since its first showing.

Tickets are £16.50, £15 from www.thebrindley.org.uk and the Brindley box office on 0151 907 8360
