Love is in the air at Halton Borough Council’s Grangeway Get-Together on Monday 12 February when older residents will be treated to a St Valentine’s themed event at the Community Centre.

Organisers Sure Start to Later Life holds regular tea socials event 2nd Monday of the month, from 1pm to 4pm, from February to November.

For £5 there is live entertainment and food and drinks served to the table. There are places for 100 people, and every effort is made so each event is special, with table decoration and themes throughout the year.

At this time transport is not included so people will need to make their own way.

“I lost my husband in 2015 and it took me a long time to pull myself together thanks to you this helps”

“Stops isolation, make friends and something to look forward to. Everyone is very friendly and it is nice to come in have a chat and a little dance!
