A 77-year-old Widnes woman has received a scam email pretending to be from DHL about a delivery they were unable to make. The sender asks the recipient to click on a link in the email to schedule the delivery.
Halton Borough Council’s Executive Board Member for Trading Standards, Cllr Dave Cargill, said: “This email is a scam. See the information in red text in the picture which explains how we know it’s a scam.
“If you receive this email, delete it without opening it or clicking on any links.”
