During the current lockdown, Widnes Market’s food traders and essential services remain open with Covid-secure measures in place to ensure a safe experience for shoppers.
Widnes Market represents a great alternative to supermarkets and will be operating normal opening times, with the market and food hall welcoming customers every day, apart from Tuesdays and Sundays from 9am-4pm.
Many of our wonderful traders who cannot be open during this current lockdown will be doing click and collect or delivery services.
For a current list of which traders are open and who is doing deliveries or collection services, please head over to our Facebook page where up to the minute information can be found. www.facebook.com/widnesmarket
If you’re popping down to the market to pick up your essential shopping, don’t forget you must wear a face covering and follow the measures that have been put in place to keep you safe. Please remember hands, face, space – wash your hands regularly or use hand sanitiser, wear a face covering, keep your distance of 2m if you can.
Cllr Ron Hignett, Halton Borough Council’s portfolio holder for the physical environment, says: “We look forward to welcoming you to Widnes Market where everything is in place to keep you safe, and your support for local traders in these testing times is greatly appreciated.”
