For toe-tapplingly good music and lots of fun, experience the Jar Family at the Brindley Theatre, Runcorn on Saturday 26 May.

The Hartlepool based band are individual songwriters and musicians, who decided that, rather than strive for success in isolation, they would join forces to pool their talent and create their ‘industrial folk’ sound.

They have entertained, thrilled and conscripted punters at more than 400 gigs including approximately 75 festival performances. Their fan base is notoriously loud, thirsty, loyal and very large!

The six-piece are have the knack of being able to win over a crowd quickly and are entertaining to watch. Imagine, if you can, Steam Punk infused Bob Dylan wrestling The Pogues with Bez in a top-hat!

Blues Matters said of them: “Absolutely brilliant …with harmonies to die for, wonderful original songs… top multi-instrumentalists, character in abundance and real talent.”
