There was a great turnout last Friday for the Halebank Community Clean Up despite the awful rain.
Halton Borough Council officers along with volunteers from Halebank Parish Council, Halton Veterans, Halton BID, Halton Housing and local businesses Croda Europe and Silva Timber were out litter picking, clearing up rubbish and engaging with residents in Halebank.
The clean-up was a great success and at the end of the day we had cleared over 30 bags of rubbish as well as general fly-tipped waste.
We look forward to working with all the volunteers again on the next clean-up – hopefully with better weather conditions.
