Are you a fan of the Gothic, macabre and all things ghostly? We have a pre-Christmas treat for you!

Don’t Go Into The Cellar!, said to be the UK’s finest practitioners of theatrical Victoriana in a macabre vein, is back at Halton Borough Council’s multi-award winning Brindley Theatre, Runcorn on Tuesday 12 December with a festive treat ‘Ghost Stories for Christmas’.

In the macabre tradition of the BBC’s classic 1970s programme, Ghost Stories for Christmas is a theatre show featuring original spine-chillers in a vintage vein. An evening of vengeful revenants, restless spirits and malevolent ghouls is guaranteed for those brave enough to join us!

Acclaimed actor Jonathan Goodwin stars in this show, written by himself and directed with macabre aplomb by Gary Archer.

Formed in 2010, members of Don’t Go Into The Cellar! Are marvellous exponents of the macabre tale and use talented and versatile troupe of professionally-trained actors and crew, who perform at theatres, festivals and events across the United Kingdom.

Tickets for this spooky festive treat are just £12, £10 from www.thebrindley.org.uk and the Brindley box office on 0151 907 8360.
