Fancy kicking off Christmas in a traditional fashion? We’re pleased to announce that our ever popular Christmas event at Victoria Park will be returning next weekend (Sunday 4 December)
This year, the event, which runs from 12noon to 4pm will have a slightly different twist as we’re joined by the cast of The Brindley Theatre’s pantomime, Cinderella!
There will be some special performances on the bandstand and an opportunity to meet the cast.
All of the usual entertainment and activities will also be on offer including our excellent grotto as well as face painting, donkey rides and a carol service with a brass band accompaniment all free of charge.
The only thing you may need some cash for is food and the small children’s fair, and if you’d like to find a Christmas bargain amongst our craft stalls.
And of course Father Christmas himself is sure to make an appearance once the event is up and running…
